What is Ruckus SmartZone?
Ruckus SmartZone is a scalable WLAN controller, available as a physical appliance or virtual machine, for centrally managing large fleets of Ruckus access points. It provides a single console for configuration, RF management, firmware, and monitoring across one site or many, scaling from a few APs to tens of thousands.
SmartZone adds enterprise capabilities such as guest access, hotspot and captive-portal services, role-based administration, and multi-tenancy, making it well suited to service providers, universities, and large venues.
